We checked out of the hotel and caught a tuk tuk to the
station where we caught a train to Chia
The train was twenty minutes late, we were in a first class carriage
which meant nothing except we had air conditioning and we got two snacks and
some lunch. We were on the train for
twelve hours straight, the train was due in at 8.30pm but didn’t get into 10pm,
this train is late 95% of the time and I will never get a train again when
travelling overseas.
Our guide and drive was waiting to pick us up and took us to
our hotel, which was called the Tamarind Village hotel. After checking in we went for a short walk
into the night market and had Pad Thai noodles, they were delicious.
Back to the hotel for some much needed sleep.
